Bournemouth has retained the international Blue Flag award status since it was first introduced in 1996 and as of 2023 Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole have now secured 12 Blue Flag awards. Fantastic awards like this recognise the highest standards for water quality, environmental management, safety and services and environmental education, and are vital to our Tourism Industry.

If Bournemouth is to thrive as an attractive place to live, work and visit we need adequate off street parking. We should not be building on our car parks. This petition is NOW CLOSED and I have presented it to Parliament - thank you to everyone who added their signature.

It's been a long and frustrating journey but funding from South Western Railway, Network Rail and BCP Council has been committed to improve the platforms, upgrade the station entrance and install passenger lifts.

I have consistently and publicly opposed plans for the Navitus Bay wind farm development off Bournemouth's beautiful coastline. If elected I will continue to oppose these plans, and in my own written submission given during the planning process I set out all the reasons why.
