Tobias Ellwood, MP for Bournemouth East and Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Bereavement, marked Grief Awareness Week 2023 by hosting a 'Better Together' Cafe in Parliament on Wednesday 6th of December. Invitations were extended to all sitting MP's, APPG Members and organisations involved with providing bereavement services.
This year Grief Awareness Week 2023 ran from the 4th - 8th of December.
The above photo shows Mr Ellwood, Linda Magistris (Secretariat of the APPG) and a number of attendees gathered around a bench on the House of Commons Terrace, which Mr Ellwood and Sir Lindsay Hoyle (The Speaker) recently installed with a 'Help and Hope' plaque as part of the Good Grief Trust's most recent campaign.
Commenting, Mr Ellwood said: "Now that #Nationalgriefawarenessweek2023 is over, let's not forget the importance of raising awareness and looking out for our loved ones this Christmas and always."
