Tobias Ellwood, MP for Bournemouth East, is running his Christmas card competition again this year. The competition is open to all primary schools in Bournemouth East and any constituents of primary school age. The submission deadline is Thursday 23rd of November.
Commenting, Mr Ellwood said: " I am keen for as many children as possible to get involved in this fun event which will hopefully serve to highlight and celebrate the creative talents of our young people."
"I would be grateful if you could encourage your students to unleash their imaginations and get as creative as possible. The only restrictions are that the design should have a seasonal theme, portrait orientation and fit in the box outlined in the attached template. Please feel free to photocopy as many as you require."
The deadline for this years competition is Thursday 23rd November, submissions received after this date may not be considered. As well as a prize for the overall winner and runners up, the winning design will be printed and distributed to government ministers, local businesses and councillors within the area. Please send all entries to me at The House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA and ensure each one clearly includes the child’s first and last name along with their age and school or address.
