Tobias delivered a petition signed by over 1000 residents in protest at the proposed traveller sites in the Strouden, Throop and Muscliff greenbelt areas of Bournemouth into Downing Street this afternoon.
The petition states:
"We the undersigned strongly object to the proposed development of three permanent gipsy/traveller sites in Strouden, Throop and Muscliff.
Bournemouth has already more than adequately contributed to Dorset's housing numbers and this would be an inappropriate use of much treasured Greenbelt and open space"
Tobias will now hand a copy of the petition in Bournemouth Borough Council at the Town Hall and at the Department for Communities and Local Government.
