Free guided tours of Parliament and of Big Ben are available to constituents. The walking tour of the Palace of Westminster includes -
- Westminster Hall, the ancient hall at the heart of the Palace where Parliament first sat and where many historic events have taken place
- The House of Commons, including the Speaker's Chair and the famous green benches and the 'lobbies' where MPs actually vote
- The House of Lords, including the Royal Throne
- The Queen's Robing Room, Royal Gallery and many other fascinating parts of the Palace of Westminster
Please contact us to enquire about a visit to Parliament; you can telephone my office on 020 7219 6459 or email me at tobias.ellwood.mp@parliament.uk - please ensure to include your full address and the size of your tour group in your email.
Please note that tours are very popular and places are limited so generally have to be booked around 4 - 6 months in advance (particularly for Big Ben).
Tours of Parliament can only be booked by MPs for Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays when Parliament is not in recess. If you require a weekend tour or a tour during school/summer holidays, you would need to buy a commercial ticket. These typically cost up to £25 - more information can be found here:
