Tobias Ellwood, MP for Bournemouth East, spoke about the ongoing conflict in Gaza at the Together For Humanity event held in London on Sunday 3rd of December.
Mr Ellwood concluded his speech by saying: "We cannot be international or national bystanders. We have a duty to yield our greater collective influence, to alter the current trajectory of this conflict. And more closer to home, to have the courage to stand up to hate, to call out extremism and to challenge the polarization of positions that can provoke discord and division in our communities. This is not just a political imperative, it's a moral one. Because we do indeed have more in common than that which divides us."
