Tobias Ellwood, MP for Bournemouth East, voiced his concerns over BCP Council's mismanagement of their Special Education Needs (SEND) budget, to the Minster in Education Questions on Monday 29th of January.
Mr Ellwood has previously raised his concerns regarding the Council's decision to challenge parents, who seek educational support for their children, in court. Costing them over £100,000 in legal fees every 3 months and losing 90% of cases.
Commenting Mr Ellwood said: "I am pleased to have secured a date to speak with the Minster about this issue further. Everyone deserves a high-quality education. We can do better, we must do better."
