Tobias along with Jon Dunne of Charles Higgins and a team of people gathered at Shelley Manor Theatre in Boscombe Manor to help construct the chairs, which he helped to secure from the IMAX before its demolition started.
Sir Percy Shelley purchased the Manor for his mother Florence Shelley who wrote the gothic horror novel Frankenstein. He was a keen thespian and playwright and added the theatre to the west end of the house.
From 1911 the manor became a school a college then latterly part of the Arts College. After 6 years dereliction, the main house was renovated by Charles Higgins and is now known as Shelley Manor in honour of its creators, part of the building now being a medical centre.
The theatre in its current condition has been a venue for a variety of arts performances in the last few years including visual arts, music performance, theatre and opera and as the renovations to the theatre continue it is planned to offer the building for community use with a coffee bar, shop and a work place for business start ups.
