This week is Scout Community Week which is a UK-wide fundraising initiative to help Scouts do one thing to have an impact on their community. Over 2,500 Scout Groups are taking part all over the country, in a week of community action aimed at improving their local area and raising funds for their group.
As an Eagle Scout I am keen to draw attention to this initiative and highlight the two Scout groups in my constituency who are taking part this week. They are the 37th Bournemouth Scout Group and the Piranha Explorers.
All of the Scouts who raise money during Community Scout week will receive an exclusive B&Q Scout Community Week 2012 badge to add to their collection.
