Give parents more choice

Conservatives believe that teachers not politicians, should run our schools. We will cut teachers' paperwork, slim down the number of exams and increase the education budget.

Labour
Labour want to continue running schools from Westminster. Labour have denied the South West of England the funding it deserves meaning many schools have had to cut staff in order to keep within budget.

Lib Dems
The Lib Dems want abolish faith based, specialist and grammar schools, introduce a graduate tax (therefore charging for university), change courses from three to two years and only give out university grants if students live with their parents.
